This was recorded and mixed from November 2000 to January 2001. Andy sang and played guitar, Eric played guitar, Jesse sang backup and played drums, and Jon sang and played bass. Mike Bowler of Monobrow Studios recorded it and Jim Bone mastered it. Eric's contributions and a year of playing live shows helped focus BNBH. However, sound and style still vary from song to song. This is the final legacy of the Brand New Broken Homes - Enjoy.
This was recorded in 1997 and 1998 by Andy (singing, guitar, keyboards), Jesse (drums, guitar, singing), and Jon (bass, guitar, singing, drums). This is when we were really "indie" and "lo-fi". There is no continuity whatsoever. Since we were new to digital 8-track recording, we tried out every idea that popped into our heads. Aside from the 8-track (a Roland VS-880), a borrowed '69 Strat, and Jesse's Martin 000 (a gift), we had really cheap equipment. Enjoy!
