This site will probably only be of interest to:
- people who know me.
- people who are interested in mid-20th Century design.
- people who want music, book, and food recommendations from some stranger.
Content is slim for now, but there are several irons in the fire. So, please check back regularly.
All photos on this site were taken by either Maija or me with our Olympus C-3040 Zoom.
Like the background image? I scanned it from a photo of a fabric pattern in this fantastic book, which was given to me by Maija. I had to modify it slightly so it would tile well. More graphics on this site will be lifted from that book, no doubt.
This site uses a mixture of CSS and tables for layout, so it will look reasonably good in 4.0 or later browsers, although there are some problems with NS4 that I have decided are not worth fixing. People shouldn't be using NS4 in the 21st Century. The XHTML and CSS is all currently valid. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for correcting or improving the CSS, or if things look bad in your browser. If you're interested in an excellent CSS resource, then check out glish.com.
Here are the archives for my first blog, The Fake Dub.
And here is the website for the defunct Brand New Broken Homes.
Thank you, won't you?
